The Road Side Stone

It was my casual walk
Met the stone on my walk.
Having side on all the sides
Seen an ant having frequent rides.
Took in my hand, guided by thoughts
Searched for it all the spots.
Few steps far, drawn by eyes
Thought of the two having ties.
Got a crayon, it was red
Fate of stone was no more fade.
Rubbed it's sides all
Like a square ball.
Passers by will have eyes fall
Came to mind a sudden call.
The great work of crafting finished
After I had the stone polished.
Resumed my walk, put it aside
On the road that was wide.
To my surprise found it no where
Steps back I searched everywhere.
May be it was of beauty
By picking someone performed the duty.
It whirled again and again but
I forgot, after my duty began.
